Caroling! - 24/12/06



Last pic: MQ was presenting a gift the youth got from Thomson Plaza before setting out for caroling. We were divided into 4-5 groups, each group were suppose to get a small gift that represented/spoke about God. Then, present it to the hosts when we finish caroling at each house. =) I had a fun time travelling about with them! hahaha.

The main reception view to the pool. It was bright and sunny when we got there and LEFT. The whole time it was raining WHILE we were there! I didn't even wet my swimming gears! grrr. I was still so excited because my period finished just before camp! We didn't even hit the beach. booo. I thought there was banana boat.

The camp was a nice getaway for me, at least I had some time to myself and stuff. I'm really glad I stayed with Yvonne, Joanne and Sarah. Peaceful apartment, so peaceful that MQ and Liru bunked in! lol.

I'm leading cell this week! While typing that msg to Joce, I was thinking if I could do it. Then I thought to myself, God will speak through me just like how He spoke through the rest when they led cell. heh. It'll not be Char who's leading, it will be God. =))))

I met up with Woody before meeting Yvonne and Der. We met up and ate Fish and Co.! =) We wanted to catch a movie, but the tickets we selling fast! booo, so we walked around PS. Thanks for the treats and present (Levis watch). =))

With Yvonne. Thanks girl, for always being there whenever I needed you. =) It's really amazing we could share so much despite the age gap. hahah! It's either I'm old or you're young. lol. I can never thank you enough. Love you, girl!

I don't know what resolutions I made for 2006, obviously I didn't keep it. I shall not make any this year, what's the point of making them and breaking them in the end right? heh.

Looking back on my life, I must say that God has preserved me very well. There weren't problems I wasn't able to solve, heartaches I wasn't able to heal (though some are still in the process), quarrels I wasn't able to resolve, modules I wasn't able to pass (though I didn't do very well for some) and so on.

I'll just look at the things I have and be contented rather than look at the things I don't have and feel miserable. =)
